A restaurant had a brutal come back after a “shameless” diner slammed their eatery as “unfriendly”.
Diego’s Charcoal House in Castletowbere, Co Cork, Ireland, had a recent customer who was left less than impressed by the popular steak house.
They said the service was “rushed” and accused the chef of not taking feedback and even ringing them up later over a “trivial matter”.
They left a damning two-star review saying the food was “nice” but their comments left the steak house owner annoyed, CorkBeo reported.
Their Tripadvisor review, in full, read: “Service Rushed. Restaurant quiet. Unfriendly atmosphere . Food nice. Chef didn't accept our feedback. It is what it is. Phoned us later on trivial matter”.
The owner in turn accused them of leaving wax all over the table and flood after messing around with the candles.
Biting back, Diego said that it was the "worst" when "people like you have personal revenges and try to destroy the job we do hardly".
They wrote: "If after all you write this review you are shameless. I'm not going to answer this stupid comment. Your profile is more for a kids park than for a restaurant.
"The worst is when people like you have personal revenges and try to destroy the job we do hardly.
"Anyway I told you yesterday and I tell you again. YOU ARE NOT WLCOME IN MY RESTAURANT, NEVER AGAIN.
“MAYBE WE DON’T UNDERSTAND YOUR HOBBY, play with the decorative candles and melted [wax] covering all the table, table cloths, floor etc.
"And you have the shame to write here about my business."
Of the restaurant’s 40 reviews, 31 call it “excellent” with only one rated “poor” and one “terrible”.
