A cocktail and tapas bar near Bristol has announced it will be giving out 150 free meals on Christmas Day.
Venga in Portishead will be providing the kind gesture to help families that are going through a difficult time this year as a result of the cost-of-living crisis.
The venue has teamed up with Sainsburys and The Butchers Block. They will be donating produce which will be prepared on Christmas Day for people to take away.

In a social media post, a spokesman for Venga said: "We want to help families who are struggling to make ends meet, to put a festive meal on the table and we will pick up the tab. We've teamed up with Sainsburys and The Butchers Block who are donating produce, our owners will be in the kitchen on Christmas day preparing the food to take away. No charge.
"If you or someone you know would benefit from a little help this Christmas then you can book your collection time via our website. Merry Christmas Portishead."
The act of generosity comes at a frightening time for many families this holiday season as the cost of living crisis will be taking Christmas cheer away for many. More than one-third (35 per cent) of respondents to a survey, half of whom typically never go into negative numbers, said they expect to go into debt this year, according to the Mirror.
As the cash squeeze hits hard, 44 per cent are cutting back on Christmas presents, 34 per cent are buying less festive food and 24 per cent are scaling back on decorations.
According to the poll, conducted by Public First for More in Common, Britons now overwhelmingly rank the cost of living as the top issue facing the country today.
