Among Resident Evil 4 Remake’s reasonably large arsenal of weapons, there are a few guns that you won’t be able to purchase from the merchant, or simply stumble upon by following the main path. Like the Red9 handgun or the LE 5 SMG, you’ll need to track down the CQBR Assault Rifle yourself if you want to use it.
You can find this weapon during Chapter 10, and if you miss it then it’ll be gone forever, and you’ll have to go all the way around again in a second playthrough if you want to pick it up. To make sure that doesn’t happen, we’ll tell you exactly where to find it, so you won’t miss out.

CQBR Assault Rifle location – RE4R
The CQBR Assault Rifle can be found during Chapter 10 in the library. You will have explored this area as Ashley in the previous chapter, but now you can go back there as Leon. You also should have grabbed the Bunch of Keys from the bottom of the library in Chapter 9.
Now, return to that same location and use the Block Key, it will open the treasure here, the CQBR Assault Rifle is inside.
This is a great weapon, with a rapid rate-of-fire and powerful shots, although you’ll have trouble finding lots of ammo for it, especially on your first playthrough.
