The Red9 is one of the most reliable and beloved weapons from Resident Evil 4, but there’s only one way to get your hands on it in Resident Evil 4 Remake, and it’s easily missed. Before you finish Chapter 4, make sure you go through this guide before you miss your opportunity to wield this great weapon.

Red9 handgun location – RE4R
As we said, Chapter 4 is your only opportunity to grab this weapon. When Leon is exploring the lake on the boat, look at your map. In the center of the lake, there’s a wrecked boat, go up and dock there. On board are two treasures.
One is Alexandrite, but up on the bow of the ship, you’ll find the Red9 in a chest.
