If you’re going to weather the storm of Resident Evil 4 Remake’s many enemies, then you’re going to want plenty of weaponry to hand. However, not every weapon can be found along the main path or bought from the merchant. There are some guns you’ll need to go out of your way to seek out yourself, such as the Red9 Handgun, the CQBR Assault Rifle, or the LE 5 SMG.

LE 5 sub-machine gun location – RE4R
You’ll find the gun in the freezer section of the laboratory during Chapter 13. You’d be forgiven for missing it given the tense action going on at the time, as Regeneradors will be roaming the area. Still, take a look and you’ll spot an Electronic Lock Terminal in the corner of the room. You’ll need to solve the puzzle to get access, but once you do, you’ll find the LE 5 SMG on the table.
Why you should use the LE 5 – RE4R
The LE 5 has superior damage compared to the TMP, with the trade-off being smaller clips. However, the main benefit of the LE 5 is the ability to attach scopes – a feature that is especially useful when you consider you’re about to get access to the Biosensor Scope to take the Regeneradors.
