Resident Alien Season 3: Shocking Return Of Character Revealed

Resident Alien

Resident Alien season 3, episode 4, titled 'Avian Flu,' took a surprising turn with the return of a character presumed dead. The show's creator, Chris Sheridan, sheds light on the unexpected comeback and the character's role in the ongoing storyline.

For those unfamiliar, Resident Alien follows an alien, played by Alan Tudyk, who crash lands on Earth with a mission to destroy the planet. However, a change of heart leads him to protect Earth from another alien threat known as The Greys, with the help of General McCallister, portrayed by Linda Hamilton.

In a recent interview, Sheridan revealed that the character Peter Bach, played by Terry O'Quinn, will make a significant return in season 3 as part of McCallister's 'Darling Project.' This project aims to eliminate all aliens from the planet, posing a moral dilemma for the alien-turned-doctor, Vanderspeigle.

Bach, also known as the Alien Tracker, has a history intertwined with aliens, having been abducted by The Greys in his past. His return in season 3 hints at unraveling the mysteries surrounding his connection to The Greys and his son, Robert.

The unexpected resurrection of Bach adds a layer of complexity to the narrative, especially considering his sacrifice in season 2 to save his son. With Bach now in a brain-dead state, his role in McCallister's plans raises questions about the true intentions of the General and the fate of alien-human relations.

Resident Alien, a TV adaptation of the comic book series, blends sci-fi elements with comedy, anchored by Tudyk's portrayal of the conflicted alien protagonist. As the series delves deeper into the complexities of alien-human interactions, viewers can expect more twists and revelations in the upcoming episodes.

For fans eager to follow the latest developments, new episodes of Resident Alien air on Wednesdays at 10pm on Syfy, with past episodes available for streaming on Peacock.
