Small plane crashes into a sea turtle preservation site at Bacocho beach

Rescuers have successfully reached the crash site of a helicopter that was carrying President Ebrahim Raisi, as reported by Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency. The agency did not provide details on the condition of those who were on board the helicopter at the time of the crash.

According to Pir-Hossein Kolivand, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent, at least 73 rescue teams have been deployed to the area near the village of Tavil in Iran's East Azerbaijan province where the helicopter went down. Kolivand expressed concerns about the situation, stating that 'the situation is not good,' as reported by Iranian state news IRNA.

The crash has prompted a swift response from emergency services, with rescue teams working diligently to assess the situation and provide any necessary assistance. The exact circumstances surrounding the crash and the extent of any injuries or casualties remain unclear at this time.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and are focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals involved. Updates on the situation are expected to be provided as more information becomes available.
