Republicans Gaining Ground In Early Voting In Battleground States

South Carolina residents participate in early voting during the Republican presidential primary

Former President Trump's campaign is highlighting data that suggests Republicans are making gains in early voting in key battleground states compared to the 2020 election cycle. According to sources within the campaign, there is a trend showing new and infrequent voters leaning more towards the Republican Party than the Democratic Party based on recent data from battleground states such as Arizona, North Carolina, Nevada, and Pennsylvania.

In states where party affiliation data for early voting is not available, the Trump campaign remains optimistic, noting positive signs that could indicate a favorable outcome.

So far, approximately 76 million early votes have been cast nationwide, as reported by the University of Florida’s Election Lab. To put this into perspective, a total of 252 million people participated in the 2020 election.

Encouraging his supporters to vote early, Trump seems to be focusing on mobilizing his base ahead of the election. It is worth noting that in the 2020 election, early voting generally favored Democrats, while in-person voting tended to lean more towards the GOP.
