Not a day goes by at this point that football fans and Swifties alike aren’t looking for updates on the reportedly bourgeoning relationship between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift.
The connection between the two dates back to July, when Kelce shared that he was upset that he didn’t have the chance to give Swift a friendship bracelet featuring his phone number during her Kansas City stop of the “Eras Tour,” which took place at Kelce’s place of work, Arrowhead Stadium.
That story may have a happy ending, however. Earlier this month, The Messenger reported that the two have been “quietly hanging out.” The outlet followed that report up on Wednesday, with more details.
Citing an inside source, The Messenger‘s Olivia Jakiel reports that the pair has “hung out twice, and it’s nothing serious,” but Swift “thinks he is very charming, and they have been texting this last week. Kelce, who is reportedly “embarrassed” by the level of coverage that the story has gotten, told Swift that “he would love to continue seeing her.”

The update comes on the heels of Jason Kelce, Travis’s brother and center for the Eagles, appearing to confirm that the two are seeing each other during a radio spot in Philadelphia.
“I don’t really know what’s happening in Travis’s love life, I try to keep his business kind of his business and stay out of that world. But having said that, I think he’s doing great and I think that it’s 100% true,” the elder Kelce brother said Wednesday.
