Report: Tommy DeVito Filed Copyrights for Two Nicknames, Wants to Sell Pizza, Pasta

The rising stardom of Giants rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito has reached new heights.

According to a report from trademark attorney Josh Gerben, DeVito has now filed for two new trademarks, including “TOMMY CUTLETS” and “PASSING PAISANO,” both of which are a play on his well-noted Italian heritage.

With the filings, DeVito plans to sell branded decals, clothing, pasta, pizza, tomato sauces, energy drinks and more.

DeVito is 3–2 in five starts this season in relief of Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor. Jones is done for the year with a torn ACL, and DeVito played so well in a relief role that he seized the starting quarterback job away from Taylor while the veteran was dealing with an injury to his ribs.

The rookie QB has completed 64.4% of his passes for 1,032 yards and eight touchdowns to three interceptions. He has also added 190 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground.

While last Sunday’s loss to the Saints certainly dampened the slight playoff chances of the Giants, the team stayed in contention thanks to the play of DeVito.

Now the New Jersey native is hoping for a strong finish to the season while cashing in on his newly found popularity and branding while his stock is soaring.
