Report: Texans plan to have joint practices with Saints, Dolphins

The Houston Texans are getting back to a pillar of training camp that was toppled during 2020.

According to Aaron Wilson from KPRC-TV, the Texans plan to have joint practices with two teams during training camp.

The first team is the Miami Dolphins, and the joint practices would be held ahead of the Texans’ home preseason game on Aug. 19 at Houston Methodist Training Center.

The second team is the New Orleans Saints. Houston travels to the Big Easy on Aug. 27, and the joint practices would be held in the days prior at the Saints’ headquarters in Metairie, Louisiana.

The last time the Texans had joint practices was in 2019 with the Detroit Lions.
