According to NFL Network analyst Peter Schrager, there are multiple teams making calls to try to go up and get former Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft.
Carter is truly a rare talent at defensive tackle with the type of complete skill set that reminds of Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones or Eagles star Fletcher Cox. If a team in the Top six to eight picks wants to try and parlay their pick so another team can go up and get him, there will be opportunities.
The buzz I’ve gotten from multiple teams is that now a host of teams are now calling to see how to move UP for positioning to select Jalen Carter.
One of the only blue chippers in this Draft… we will see where he ends up.
