We have an update on the injury suffered by Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt and the news is just getting worse. It was originally believed that Watt suffered an MCL sprain in Saturday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens but now, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, Watt’s injury is worse than expected and he has a torn MCL.
The Steelers are waiting around to find out their fate this season. The Steelers beat the Ravens to get their 10th win of the season but now must wait to see if the Tennessee Titans can beat the Jacksonville Jaguars or if the Miami Dolphins can win over the Buffalo Bills.
With this update about Watt’s injury, his season is over even if the Steelers find a way into the playoffs. Watt suffered the injury when he and teammate Montravius Adams ran into each other during Saturday’s game.
