The Los Angeles Rams are going to leave no stone unturned this offseason as they search for help in the secondary following the departures of Jalen Ramsey, Taylor Rapp, Nick Scott and David Long Jr. One player they’re reportedly showing interest in is defensive back Anthony Kendall, a prospect from Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio.
He’s a small-school prospect who put together an impressive showing in his workout, running a 4.44 with a 39.5-inch vertical and 11-feet, 1-inch broad jump. That would’ve been the fourth-best broad jump of any cornerback at the NFL combine, while his 4.35 short shuttle time would’ve been eighth-best at his position.
In 10 games played last season, Kendall had 56 tackles, one sack, three interceptions and a forced fumble.
The Rams are no strangers to finding talented cornerbacks at smaller schools, drafting Cobie Durant from South Carolina State and Robert Rochell from Central Arkansas in the last two years.
