One position group that’s lacking depth for the Los Angeles Rams is the defensive line. Following the retirement of Aaron Donald and the departure of Jonah Williams in free agency, the Rams have lost talent up front this offseason.
They’re adding some reinforcements to that group by re-signing Larrell Murchison to a one-year deal, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.
The Rams claimed Murchison off waivers from the Titans at the end of the 2022 season and remained with the team in 2023, playing 252 total snaps last year. He’s capable of playing inside as a defensive tackle or on the edge, but given the Rams’ holes on the interior, that’s likely where he’ll line up in 2024.
He recorded five pressures and 16 total tackles, one of which went for a loss.
