For the second straight offseason, Raheem Morris has put himself in position to potentially land a head coaching job. Though there are only three openings left, he still has a chance to be hired by one of the teams still searching for its next head coach.
The Falcons, who Morris was previously an interim head coach for, are one of the teams still with a vacancy. He interviewed with them on Tuesday and according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the meeting at owner Arthur Blank’s house went really well.
One source told Jones that Morris “killed the interview” and his energy was impressive.
Rams DC Raheem Morris met with Falcons owner Arthur Blank and the executive group Tuesday night at Blank's home. One source said he "killed the interview." Another source said the group was impressed by his energy. Morris has an in-person interview tomorrow with Seahawks.

The Falcons have a lot of candidates in the mix still, including Bill Belichick, Ejiro Evero, Mike Vrabel, Bobby Slowik and Joe Brady, so Morris has plenty of competition for the job. He’s certainly a top contender for the position, though.
