There has already been plenty written on how the Cleveland Browns could pursue DeAndre Hopkins and reunite him with Deshaun Watson. Things got a little easier on the trade front as CBS Sports is reporting that due to his PED suspension, the no-trade clause in Hopkins’s contract has been voided.
About to enter his age 31 season, Hopkins’s contract makes him nearly impossible of a target for the Browns. With a ton of money already invested in that side of the ball, it wouldn’t make sense to add Hopkins without moving on from someone else. With the team up against the cap already unless there is a massive pay cut it just doesn’t make any sense.
