Report: Orlando Brown Jr. Agrees to Huge Four-Year Deal With Bengals

Orlando Brown Jr. and the Bengals are reportedly in agreement on a four-year deal, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The former Chiefs offensive tackle will head to Cincinnati after agreeing to terms on a deal which is reportedly worth as much as $64.092 million.

It’s a record-setting contract for Brown, who will receive the largest signing bonus ever ($31 million) for an NFL offensive lineman as part of the front-loaded deal.

Brown will get his wish with the Bengals, too, as NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports the organization intends for him to play left tackle, where he played during his final season with the Chiefs.

The four-year deal will carry an average annual value of just over $16 million, a major payday for the 26-year-old, who has emerged as one of the league’s best offensive linemen.

The Chiefs opted not to use the franchise tag on Brown earlier this offseason.

Brown was a third-round pick by the Ravens in 2018 out of Oklahoma. He was traded to the Chiefs ahead of the 2021 NFL season, where he spent the past two seasons. He’s made the Pro Bowl in each of the past four years.
