Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network report that Beckham will visit both the Giants and Cowboys following their Week 12 game, which will be played on Thanksgiving day.
Buy Giants TicketsThe Cowboys and Giants have emerged as two of the favorites to sign free-agent receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who plans to visit both NFC East rivals after this week’s Thanksgiving holiday, per sources.
These are the only known visits scheduled for Beckham, though he could take others before making a decision on where to sign.
Beckham previously visited Giants facilities in October but he did not meet with general manager Joe Schoen or team brass. Instead, he was visiting Sterling Shepard, who had just suffered an ACL tear, and Saquon Barkley.
This time around, Beckham will meet with Schoen, Kevin Abrams and head coach Brian Daboll.
The Giants and Schoen have not been shy about their interest in Beckham and have been in contact with his representatives for more than a month. They’ve been keeping tabs on his recovery and may view OBJ as the best available free agent option at wide receiver both this year and next.
“He’s a good player from when I evaluated him, if he’s healthy. If a player is healthy and they would help us win football games, we would pursue them if they fit what we’re looking for,” Schoen said earlier this month.
The Cowboys have also been very open about their desire to sign Beckham. From owner Jerry Jones on down, they’ve made a very public pitch.
The Giants selected Beckham 12th overall in the 2014 NFL draft and he quickly established himself as an elite superstar. But after a falling out with the Dave Gettleman regime, was traded to the Cleveland Browns in a March 2019 blockbuster.
