After a lengthy absence from the NFL due to injury, Odell Beckham Jr. appears to be nearing a long-awaited return following a 13-month recovery from a torn ACL.
Beckham is set to hold a workout for NFL teams on Friday in Arizona, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Thursday. The 30-year-old has not played since suffering his knee injury with the Rams early in their Super LVI victory over the Bengals in Feb. 2022.
The list of teams expected to attend the workout are unknown at this time, although it’s more than likely that Beckham will have plenty of interested teams eager to see his progress. Near the end of the ’22 season, OBJ’s name popped up on the radar for several playoff teams including the Cowboys, whom he met with, Bills and Giants, where he spent his first five seasons.
In his last full season, Beckham logged 44 receptions for 537 yards and five touchdowns across 14 regular season games with the Browns and Rams. In the postseason, Beckham recorded 21 catches for 288 yards and two TDs in four appearances.
