Nick Scott is one of the many players set to hit free agency for the Los Angeles Rams this week and his market is likely to be stronger than expected. According to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, Scott is a player the New York Giants like in free agency.
But they’re not the only team that will be interested. Leonard added that Scott is viewed by teams on the same tier as Julian Love, Vonn Bell and Juan Thornhill, who are considered to be on the second level of free-agent safeties this year.
Leonard reports that Scott already has six or seven teams interested in him ahead of free agency, too.
At safety, there was optimism into weekend NYG would get Julian Love done, but still ground to make up on the circle back.
Safety market is pretty stout. Rams' Nick Scott is one the Giants like: has 6 or 7 interested teams, viewed on same tier as Love, Vonn Bell, Juan Thornhill

Scott played all 17 games last season for the Rams, starting 16 of them and playing 99% of the defensive snaps. A former seventh-round pick, Scott has gone from special teams player to starting safety, playing relatively well last season in his first year as a full-time starter.
In four seasons with the Rams, Scott recorded 157 tackles, four interceptions and forced two fumbles with nine passes defensed.
