Report: Marcio Santos to meet with Thunder in pre-draft visit

The 2023 NBA draft is less than a week away, which means teams only have a few more days to meet and work out with prospects.

For the Oklahoma City Thunder, this means looking at players who could be available in the No. 12 and No. 50 ranges of the draft. This also means looking at players who could be undrafted free agents.

One possibility at No. 50 or following the draft is Brazil’s Marcio Santos, who spent last season playing in the New Basketball Brazil and Basketball Champions League Americas leagues — both leagues are located in South America.

The Brazil forward is scheduled to work out for the Thunder in a pre-draft visit, per Brazilian basketball reporter Diego Marcondes.

In 57 total games last season, the 20-year-old averaged 8.1 points on 52.1% shooting, 4.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists. He also shot 21.7% from 3 on 1.3 attempts.

The 2023 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 22. A full list of prospects who’ve met with the Thunder can be read here.
