The Indianapolis Colts are expected to be without wide receiver Michael Pittman for a couple of weeks, according to Adam Schefter.
Pittman is dealing with a back injury that kept him out of Wednesday’s practice. Schefter added that injured reserve, which would require Pittman to miss at least four games, is an option.

At this time, we do not have any more details on when or how the injury occurred.
Pittman played 62 snaps this past Sunday in Jacksonville and has had two very productive weeks with 16 targets during that same two-game span, 11 receptions for 150 yards, and a touchdown.
This includes a pair of explosive pass plays with Anthony Richardson at quarterback against the Steelers that eventually resulted in two touchdowns for the Colts’ offense.
On the season, Pittman has caught 22-of-33 passes for 238 yards and one touchdown.
This is another big loss for the Colts that were already down a number of key players due to injury. On offense, Anthony Richardson was limited in practice on Wednesday, Jonathan Taylor and Josh Downs were both out, and Will Fries was placed on injured reserve.
