Report: Eagles will have two players begin training camp on the PUP List

The Eagles will report for training camp in 15 days, but there are already two players set to hit the physically unable to perform list.

According to Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice, tight end Tyree Jackson and offensive tackle Brett Toth will start training camp out on the PUP list.

Jackson is an intriguing tight-end prospect that switched positions after previous playing quarterback in college at the University of Buffalo.

Jackson tore an ACL in Philadelphia’s Week 18 loss to the Cowboys after scoring his first career touchdown, and the knee injury came after the tight end missed the first 8 weeks of the season with a back injury.

Toth has appeared in nine regular-season games for the Eagles over the last two years, and he also suffered an ACL tear in that loss to Dallas.

If both players actually are on the PUP list, they’ll both likely miss the first six weeks of the season while continuing to rehab from knee injuries.
