The Cleveland Browns are back in Berea for phase one of their offseason workouts as the 2023 NFL draft now sits just a week away. As players pour back into the building, there is one surprising name that has made his way back to Northeast Ohio as defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey is on-site despite his arrest earlier this month (according to The OBR’s Brad Stainbrook).
Head coach Kevin Stefanski did not have much to say about the Winfrey situation in his press conference to start offseason workouts other than to add that the team harps on player safety outside of the building continuously. While his leash may be short moving forward, Winfrey is back in the building.
