The Miami Dolphins are currently holding OTAs at their facilities, but that hasn’t stopped general manager Chris Grier from continuing to make moves.
According to the Miami Herald’s Daniel Oyefusi, not only have the Dolphins officially signed Melvin Ingram, but they’ve also waived quarterback Chris Streveler.
Streveler was expected to compete with rookie quarterback Skylar Thompson for the third quarterback role this offseason and potentially into the regular season.
This leaves the Dolphins with Thompson, Tua Tagovailoa and Teddy Bridgewater at the position. It seems unlikely that the team will head into the season with more than three quarterbacks, but it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them add another young player to continue battling with the rookie.
