The Dolphins will receive a huge boost to their explosive offensive in Week 11 when they host the Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. Rookie running back De’Von Achane has been activated off the injured reserve by the club, per a report by ESPN Adam Schefter.
Achane was sensational earlier this season, amassing 460 rushing yards and five touchdowns prior to suffering a knee injury against the Giants on Oct. 8.
While averaging an eye-popping 12.11 yards per carry on the ground, the former Texas A&M standout has also emerged a threat in Miami's passing attack hauling in nine receptions for 67 yards and two touchdowns via the air.
Dolphins activated rookie RB De’Von Achane off injured reserve today and he will play Sunday vs. the Raiders. Despite not playing the past four weeks due to his knee injury, Achane still is tied for the league lead in 20+ yard carries with six and he still leads the league in 40+… pic.twitter.com/yta7vajooy

Against the Raiders, Achane is expected to split time with Miami’s leading rusher Raheem Mostert (605 yards) in the backfield. The veteran, who is tied with Christian McCaffrey for the NFL lead in touchdowns (13), will likely still remain the team’s short yardage goal line back, while relinquishing his previous bell-cow workload.
The Dolphins, who sit atop the AFC East at 6–3, are 13.5-point home favorites at SI Sportsbook against a surging 5–5 Raiders squad that has won back-to-back games.
