While the Miami Dolphins have been battling the injury bug early in the season, they seem to be getting some reinforcements back in the near future.
According to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey will return to practice on Wednesday.
Ramsey suffered a meniscus injury in just his second training camp session with the Dolphins this summer, and after surgery and rehab, he’s ready to get back to work.
Wolfe states that Ramsey won’t play this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he will be back on the game field soon.
Once Ramsey officially hits the practice field for the first time, it will start his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve. If he isn’t activated by then, he’d be forced to miss the remainder of the season.
After this Sunday’s matchup with the Eagles, the Dolphins take on the New England Patriots at home and the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany before their Week 10 bye week.
