The Indianapolis Colts and pending free-agent defensive end Samson Ebukam agreed to a three-year deal Tuesday night, first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
According to Schefter, the three-year deal is worth up to a max of $27 million and includes $11 million in the first year of the contract.
Former 49ers’ free-agent DE Samson Ebukam reached agreement on a three-year, $27 million max deal with the Indianapolis Colts that includes over $11 million in the first year, per @JFowlerESPN and me. Cameron Foster and @chriscabott confirmed and negotiated deal.

Ebukam, 27, was a fourth-round pick with the Los Angeles Rams in the 2017 NFL draft out of Eastern Washington. He spent four seasons with the Rams working mostly in a reserve/rotational role.
He signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers during the 2021 offseason and held a larger role over the last two seasons.
Ebukam is coming off his best season with the 49ers, registering career-highs in sacks (5.0), quarterback hits (13), tackles for loss (seven) and total pressures (43).
In 96 career games (61 starts), Ebukam has recorded 23.5 sacks, 52 quarterback hits, 28 tackles for loss and 166 total pressures.
The addition of Ebukam will be a nice fit at the LEO position and likely means the Colts won’t see the return of pending free-agent Yannick Ngakoue.
