The Indianapolis Colts are expected to release defensive tackle R.J. McIntosh ahead of Tuesday’s deadline to reduce the roster to 53 players, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
McIntosh joined the Colts early this offseason and was battling for one of the final roster spots in the defensive tackle room. He had some flashes throughout training camp, but it’s no surprise the Colts may favor their young draft picks in Curtis Brooks and Eric Johnson II.
