Could Michigan State football be once again tapping into the Colorado pipeline for an addition through the transfer portal?
Former Colorado wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig is reportedly currently on an official visit to Michigan State. Justin Thind of 247Sports reported the notable transfer portal news.
Earlier this week, Michigan State landed a transfer portal commitment from a fellow Colorado Buffalo — defensive lineman Jalen Sami. The Spartans also officially lost leading returning receiver Keon Coleman this week when he committed to Florida State.
Lemonious-Craig appeared in 11 games for Colorado last year, recording 23 receptions for 359 yards and three touchdowns. He had a breakout performance in the nationally televised Colorado spring game earlier this year and shortly jumped into the transfer portal.
According to Thind, Penn State and Auburn are also “in pursuit” of Lemonious-Craig so he is clearly a big-time transfer portal target. This would be a great addition for Michigan State if they were to land a commitment from Lemonious-Craig.
