The Cleveland Browns have already made strides in their wide receiver room, but the most popular player who people pair with them could become available (according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer). The former favorite target of quarterback Deshaun Watson, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins could potentially be cut by the Arizona Cardinals as they struggle to find a trade partner.
If Hopkins, who was rumored to draw a day-two pick in return, is cut then it gets interesting for the Browns. They were never going to be able to cough up that price, but with Watson on the roster, they could have some pull to bring him in on a cost-effective deal on the open market.
