Report: Bulls sign 2 guards to Exhibit-10 contracts for training camp

The Chicago Bulls have signed Quenton Jackson and Max Heidegger to Exhibit-10 contracts that will allow them to be with the team for training camp, according to the team’s official Twitter account. Jackson, 24 years old, and Heidegger, 26 years old, played in the Summer League this offseason for the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks, respectively.

Jackson has a bit of NBA experience under his belt, having played nine games with the Wizards this past year. However, the 6-foot-5 guard spent most of his time in the G League with the Capital City Go-Go, where he played 29 games. He averaged 15.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 53.5% from the field and 39.5% from deep.

As for Heidegger, he spent this past year playing internationally for Saski Baskonia in Spain and Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket in Turkey. In 45 games across all competitions with both teams, the 6-foot-3 guard averaged 10.6 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while shooting 43.2% from the floor and 37.0% from behind the arc.

The Bulls don’t have any two-way spots left available, as Adama Sanogo, Onrulap Bitim, and Justin Lewis are currently holding those spots, so if either Jackson or Heidegger were to impress, they would have to find a way of making the main roster.

However, it’s more likely that Chicago is bringing them in with the hopes of having them play for the Windy City Bulls in the upcoming season.

Neither seems primed to make much noise on the main roster, but both are intriguing enough for the Bulls to want to keep them around moving forward.
