The Cleveland Browns are enduring their bye week this week before preparing for the San Francisco 49ers next week. Their bye week may have come at the right time, however, after a loss to the Baltimore Ravens in a game where starting quarterback Deshaun Watson opted to rest his shoulder before the long stretch of the rest of the season. However, according to The Athletic’s Jason Lloyd, this decision may have caused some frustration among his teammates.
While Watson was limited throughout the week, he was adamant, even to the media on Friday, that he would suit up and play against the Ravens. After warming up on Sunday, however, Watson decided to pull the plug and take the week to rest his shoulder. It seems like everyone from the head coach to his teammates, however, expected him to play against the Ravens.

At the end of the day, a Week 4 loss only impacts tiebreaker scenarios and nothing more. Watson and the Browns have a chance to put it all behind them and come out competitively after the bye against the 49ers.
