Report: Browns bringing in another WR for a predraft visit

The Cleveland Browns need for a wide receiver or two has been pretty obvious. The addition of Amari Cooper was a good step but that was quickly followed by the release of Jarvis Landry. The team’s current receiver depth chart would put a lot of pressure on Donovan Peoples-Jones, Anthony Schwartz and Demetric Felton to make big strides in 2022.

The Browns reportedly have two receivers in town on Friday. Treylon Burks and Christian Watson are both expected to be drafted in the first day or two at the NFL draft in Las Vegas later this month. Burks was expected to be a target for Cleveland when they still had the 13th overall pick while Watson could has been rising on media’s mock drafts but could be available in the second round.

Now comes a report of another receiver, Trevon Bradford, having a meeting with the Browns:

Bradford played at Oregon State for six different seasons playing in at least four games in each starting in 2016 until last year. He put together 151 receptions for over 1,900 yards and 14 touchdowns in that span. He also returned some kicks.

Not surprisingly, given his six years of college, Bradford is already 24 years old. At 6’0″, 185 pounds, he ran a 4.52 40-yard dash at his pro day.

If this report is accurate, bringing Bradford in seems surprising for Cleveland who seems to value younger prospects with more explosion and production. His highlights against Stanford show good hands on a couple of catches:
