News surrounding Myers departure from Golden State has been widely reported with his contract set to come to an end on June 30. Myers is expected to speak with members of the media in the Bay Area on Tuesday.

Myers has been a key pillar in the most dominant era of Golden State’s franchise history that’s featured four NBA championships and nine playoff appearances since his arrival in 2011.

During his tenure with the Warriors, Myers has helped oversee the growth and development of  Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Myers has also been apart of moves like hiring Steve Kerr, recruiting Kevin Durant to the Bay Area, signing veteran forward Andre Iguodala, trading for Andrew Wiggins and drafting Jordan Poole.

With Myers stepping down, current Vice President of Basketball Operations Mike Dunleavy Jr. could take on a more prominent role with the Warriors.
