REPORT: Big Ten ADs to meet with league commissioner on UM scandal

Could we see a punishment handed out to Michigan today? It appears there’s a chance of that occurring based on recent reports.

Adam Rittenberg of ESPN is reporting that Big Ten athletic directors will have a call with league commissioner Tony Petitti later today — which is most likely a follow-up to the Michigan sign-stealing cheating scandal. Last night, Pete Thamel of ESPN reported the Big Ten coaches met with Petitti and expressed they want a punishment to be handed out to the Wolverines.

This allegedly cheating scandal has taken a lot of wild turns but each one appears to make things worse and worse for Michigan. This latest report could be nothing or it could be the final step before a punishment comes from the conference.
