The Houston Texans may be in the market for a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, but that does not mean they won’t take their time evaluating the rest of the top-10.
According to Aaron Wilson from KPRC-TV, the Texans brought in Alabama defensive end Will Anderson for a visit. The two-time Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Year also had a visit with the Detroit Lions.
Adding Anderson would give new coach DeMeco Ryans a dynamic pass rusher to work with in a vein similar to when he had Nick Bosa while defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers the past two seasons.
Houston has another pick at No. 12 overall, but it is presumed Anderson is too coveted of a prospect that he would not available by the time the Texans were ready to pick again.
