Instead of throwing her support behind Harris, Tlaib urged voters to exercise their right to vote on Election Day. At the UAW rally, Tlaib was joined by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York, another member of the 'Squad,' and UAW president Shawn Fain. Both Ocasio-Cortez and Fain endorsed Harris for president.
