US Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego, a candidate in the Arizona Senate race, has launched a coalition called 'Juntos for Gallego' to mobilize Latino voters in the state. Gallego emphasized the importance of providing resources and representation to the Latino community, stating his commitment to addressing these issues.

If successful in the November election, Gallego, who faces no Democratic primary opposition, would become the first Latino senator from Arizona. He has actively engaged with the Latino community through various events, such as conducting a town hall in Spanish, attending a Copa América watch party, and participating as a judge in a tamale festival.

On the Republican side, front-runner Kari Lake has also made efforts to appeal to Latino voters by establishing a 'Latinos for Lake' coalition. Lake has engaged in activities like campaigning with former UFC fighter Tito Ortiz and visiting local Latino businesses, including a boxing gym and a Mexican butcher shop and market.

Ricardo Reyes, a 42-year-old Marine Corps veteran from Phoenix, expressed his support for Gallego, citing the candidate's military background and understanding of the community's needs. As a first-generation American with Mexican immigrant parents, Reyes values Gallego's firsthand experience with the immigrant journey.
