Rep. Jim Jordan Focuses On Helping Republicans Win In November

Republican Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio has expressed his focus on helping Republicans secure victory in the upcoming November elections, regardless of Vice President Kamala Harris potentially becoming the Democratic nominee. This comes in the wake of President Joe Biden's decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, leading to calls from several Republican lawmakers for Biden to resign from the presidency if he is unable to seek another term.

When asked about Biden's withdrawal from the race, Jordan emphasized the importance of defeating Harris or any other Democratic candidate. He stated, 'What I'm focused on is let's make sure we beat Kamala Harris or whoever the Democrats put up. And frankly I don't think it matters that much, because you can't change the facts.'

He emphasizes the need to win Senate and retain House control for effective governance.

Jordan highlighted what he perceives as negative changes during the Biden administration, citing shifts from a secure border to a lack of border security, safe streets to record crime rates, $2 gas prices to $4 gas prices, and stable prices to record inflation. He asserted that these facts will remain unchanged regardless of the Democratic nominee, underscoring his commitment to supporting President Trump and JD Vance as the next president and vice president.

The congressman emphasized the importance of winning the Senate and retaining control of the House to effectively serve the American people. Jordan's focus remains on delivering results for the nation by ensuring Republican victories in the upcoming elections.
