Celtic duo Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda have both been called up for Japan's World Cup qualifiers next week.
National team boss Hajime Moriyasu has named the Parkhead pair in his squad to face Australia and Vietnam.
And Hatate could earn his first full international caps across the double header following an impressive start to life in Glasgow.
The midfielder made a stunning impact with goals against Aberdeen and Rangers following his January arrival from Kawasaki Frontale and that's convinced Moriyasu to draft him in.
Maeda, meanwhile, has scored five goals in 13 appearances under Ange Postecoglou so far.
Japan take on Australia on March 24 in a clash likely to prove pivotal to their Qatar 2022 hopes.
Moriyasu's side sit second in their qualifying group three points ahead of the Socceroos with two matches to play.
Two teams progress automatically to the World Cup and Japan can secure passage to the group stage with victory over the Aussies.
They they round off their qualifying campaign away to Vietnam on March 29, with Celtic taking on Rangers five days later on April 3.
