Celtic duo Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda have been called up for Japan ahead of their World Cup qualifying double header.
Kyogo Furuhashi misses out, with the Hoops striker still recovering from a hamstring injury which has kept him out since Boxing Day.
However, his two Hoops team-mates have made the cut for matches against Australia on March 24 and Vietnam on March 29.
Yosuke Ideguchi, who has 15 caps for Japan, is not included in the group.
Hatate and Maeda will fly out after their Scottish Premiership match at home to Ross County on March 19.
They'll face a gruelling return journey ahead of the Old Firm clash against Rangers on April 2.
The Vietnam qualifier is on the Tuesday morning, five days prior to the crucial derby.
Japan boss Hajime Moriyasu said: "Hatate's adjusted to playing in the Premiership and living in Scotland, and looking at his performances I decided to call him up.
"I think he'll best be able to play the inside-half role he's been in for Celtic.
"But I also think he can play at other positions."
