RENOWNED Scottish chef Tom Kitchin has shared his favourite cheap restaurant to visit when eating out in Scotland.
This comes as other famous chefs like Lisa Goodwin-Allen and Tom Shepherd shared their top "on-a-budget" eateries across the UK for Sky News.
Spots like The Cedar Marlow in Buckinghamshire and Jun Jaow Thai in Devon were featured and praised for their "authenticity" and great selections.

The Scottish chef named The Fishmarket at Newhaven as his favourite affordable restaurant to visit.
Recommending the restaurant, the chef-owner of The Kitchin in Scotland's capital said: "I really enjoy The Fishmarket, down by the Newhaven harbour in Edinburgh. They offer classic fish and chips, done incredibly well, which you can either enjoy in the restaurant or to take away."
The eatery is also popular with customers on Tripadvisor with the spot receiving a 3.5/5 out of 1102 reviews.
One visitor said: "Excellent all round. Fresh cooked haddock, chips sensational and super fast service from friendly staff. You will not be disappointed."

Another added: "2nd time I have been here and it's fabby. I would never normally opt for fish and chips. However, this was excellent.
"The fish was meaty and the batter light and crispy. Chips had a lovely crisp to them. I went to another couple of weeks ago and it did not compare to this one. Also, no greasy lips which is a big plus."
A third patron said: "Absolutely amazing food, monkfish curry so tasty & fish cooked perfectly.
"Scampi was wonderful and will definitely change your mind about buying a bag of scampi in the supermarket.
"The atmosphere was just right and so friendly."
