Renovated family home with 'wow factor' for sale

A new home has been listed for sale in Merseyside that's described as having the “wow factor.”

The three bedroom detached house has been refurbished throughout. The new buyer will be moving into a “meticulously designed and styled” home that’s described as being “everything” the modern family could wish for.

Just a short walk from a park and tennis courts, the property is found set back behind a wall and a front garden on Stanley Road, in New Ferry. As well as the main residence, the listing includes outbuildings that currently provide additional storage, a green house and toilet.

The home has been reduced in the last week and is now listed for sale for £300,000. According to Rightmove, properties in New Ferry had an overall average price of £140,654 over the last year.

Most of the sales in New Ferry during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £139,315. While semi-detached properties sold for an average of £147,199, with flats fetching £124,500.

Overall, sold prices in New Ferry over the last year were 10% up on the previous year and 21% up on the 2019 peak of £116,478. Images of the home show there's a long driveway and garden that leads to the home.

The front door opens to a panelled hallway with wood block flooring. It leads to a living room and a kitchen/diner that has been "beautifully decorated."

The back of the home features a newly fitted kitchen to one side and a dining area with door to the garden at the other. There's the added bonus of a separate laundry room, fitted with a shower and toilet.

Other rooms on the ground floor include conservatory, a further utility room and a large garage. All of which could be transformed to the new owners wants and needs.

To the first floor there are three bedrooms, two of which are double and include fitted storage.
