Kyogo's move from Celtic to Rennes looks to have got off to a complicated start, with the French side sacking their manager.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Jorge Sampaoli has been dismissed by the Ligue 1 outfit.
Rennes have endured a poor season to date. They sit 16th in France's top flight, just four points clear of bottom side Le Havre.
Kyogo joined Rennes from the Scottish Premiership champions on Monday, and will be looking to repay the faith shown in him with the £10m deal by firing his new team up the table, away from relegation trouble.

Jota essentially moved in the opposite direction from Kyogo, back to Glasgow in a £9m switch from Rennes.
The Portuguese winger was unable to feature in last night's Champions League loss to Aston Villa.
However, he could make his second Hoops debut this weekend away to Motherwell.
