Renfrewshire police 'growing concerned' for welfare of missing 16-year-old not seen for two days


Police are becoming increasingly worried about a missing 16-year-old.

James Carr was last spotted in the Greenock Road area of Bishopton at 9pm on Friday night, May 26.

Officers investigating his disappearance say they are concerned about his welfare and issued a description, asking the public to contact them if they can help.

James is 5ft 4ins in height, with brown hair and was wearing a black and grey Northface jacket, Nike trainers, black Nike joggers, with a black T-shirt and jumper when he was seen last.

A Police Scotland statement published on social media said: "James is known to use public transport and has been previously known to travel to the Invergordon and Edinburgh areas.
