A police probe is underway after a car was deliberately torched outside a house in Renfrew.
The incident happened around 3am on Wednesday, August 3 outside a property on Lang Avenue. A Vauxhall Corsa had accelerant poured over it and set alight. The vehicle was significantly damaged.
No-one was injured in the blaze.

Officers in Renfrewshire have been checking CCTV footage and making local enquiries, and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward.
Detective Constable Steven Lessels, Paisley CID, said: “Thankfully on this occasion no one was injured and the fire did not spread to the house.
“Officers have been checking CCTV and making local enquiries but are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the vehicle between 2.50 am and 3am last Wednesday morning.
“If you were in the area and have any dash-cam footage from around that time, then please get in touch with police.”
