A scrapyard in Renfrew went up in flames on Bonfire Night.
Police are investigating the incident which they have described as wilful fire-raising.
The blaze happened at a premises on Clyde Street near the ferry terminal with police and fire crews attending the scene.
Two fire engines were dispatched and their crews extinguished the flames. Nobody was hurt.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.35pm on Saturday, November 5, police were called to a yard in the Clyde Street area of Renfrew, following a report of a fire.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 4550 of 5 November. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: “We were alerted at 10.20pm on Saturday, to reports of a fire affecting a scrapyard on Clyde Street, Renfrew.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
