Liverpool transfer target Aurelien Tchouameni wowed Reds fans on Friday night as he put in a Man of the Match performance for Monaco against Lille.
Tchouameni scored two great goals and dominated the midfield as Monaco won 2-1 to jump up to second in Ligue 1 with just two games remaining. The midfielder put his side 1-0 up in the 42nd minute with a clinical left-footed finish from the edge of the box. Former Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes equalised for Lille before Tchouameni picked up the ball about 30 yards out and fired a powerful effort into the bottom corner.
The Frenchman has been linked with numerous clubs including Liverpool, although Real Madrid are seen as favourites for his signature. Reports emerged this week that his club have slapped a £59m price tag on his head.

The ECHO recently reported that Tchouameni fits the profile of the player the Reds view as being able to add to the squad in terms of age, versatility and physical attributes. He would be a key part of Klopp’s gradual evolution of the squad to fill the engine room with younger talent after signing a new contract last week.
He was superb on Friday night and Liverpool fans were quick to react to his performance in what they hope was a glimpse of what they will be soon seeing at Anfield.
